This is all a Democratic president can hope to be. We may have all the grand plans and designs, but when the stupids and the crazies feel their grip on power slipping, they hold the country hostage. You hold your breath because Obama doesn’t give you every last policy detail you want, and they take him away from that wall and in comes the flood of mandatory bible classes and invasions of Corsica and Texas textbooks. So, yeah, he’s not what you want him to be. Who cares? He can’t be. Don’t try to kid yourself. You don’t live in that country.
